Well, trying to gut everything out behind the dash with out pulling the dash has turned into quite a chore. But thats another story and if your bored you can read it here:

Anyways, while tearing everything apart I came across 3 little black boxes. One of them is marked "body control module" and the others don't have any real markings. Does anyone have ay clue what these are for and if they are something that can be thrown in the trash?

As far as the air bag question, I just took mine out today. Two 10 milimeter bolts are under the mesh that keeps the air bag flap from shooting off into space. At the bottom behind the glovebox door are two more of those little 7mm bolts. After those 4 were out, a nice 15 pound bracket/airbag assembly fell out onto the floor.

I also took the drivers side one out and spray painted where it once was. It's nice having a racecar.
