QUOTE (FS 320 @ Oct 10 2004, 03:37 PM) Ok, I have two questions about these shocks: A) Does anyone know what is the difference between the 1LE deCarbons and the stock deCarbons were? and: 2) I read somewhere, and I can't for the life of me remember where, that shocks stored on there sides were failing because of seals dried up and were blowing out or something like that. Since these have been sitting for about eight to ten years, do you think are they worth taking a $109.00 chance on?? Thanks in advance. Jim The 1LE decarbons were valved more stiffly. The fronts look like the stock struts, but the rear shocks are much larger in diameter. The front springs are not correct, from them gryhead. z28 |
