On average, how many non pit related passes are made in an F1 race? Compare that to the average for a Nascar race.
Nothing against F1 really, but most of the competition occurs before the race even begins. So many people get caught up on the idea that going around in circles is somehow easy, that they fail to even acknowledge that there are 43 cars out there, and for the most part they are all bumper to bumper, and door to door for pretty much the entire race. In Nascar, it's about racing the other drivers, not about racing the track. THAT is what most Nascar fans enjoy. |
