Currious how some of you guys came up with your race number. I was always "12" throughout all the sports I played when I was little (baseball/basketball/hockey). Whats the story behind yours?

QUOTE (231go @ Jan 28 2004, 07:51 PM) QUOTE (sgarnett @ Jan 28 2004, 06:37 PM) 42 is the answer, but I can't remember the question (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Now where did I leave my towel? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) It's a literary reference (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) However, before picking a number I looked at results from several autocrosses in the two regions I usually compete in, and made a list of what number were already in common use. There is one guy in a nearby region who uses the same number, also in ESP, but we rarely run the same events. I also carry some extra sixes (or nines), so in case of a conflict I have lot's of other choices that I can make from just a few magnetic numbers. |
