I have read all of the thread's on this and didn't want to go to far with the BFH! Im going to heat it and cut under the lip, but would like to know how far to cut and bang away!
I'm installing 17x11 36mm o/s kuhmo v710 315's mostly stock formula firebird(4x4) suspension (35mm strano- prothane a-arm B- poly/poly PHB hopefully Kevin's by next weekend!) |

I'm planning on doing mine real soon. I borrowed a lip roller and a heat gun from work. Planning on rolling the rear lips on a friends Camaro this weekend. I'll try to take some pictures. The heat gun is a key to keeping your paint from cracking. Ideally you want the temperature to be about 125 to 140* F. The heat gun I'm using has an adjustable temperature setting so it shouldn't be a problem. If you have ever felt the finish on a dark colored car in sunlight that would be about where you want to be.
Here's a link to the type of roller I'll be using http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product...9&keyword=31158 |
