Have you considered how much free advertising you've given away?
And what do you get in return? For instance we may buy something (say a set of wheels) and the wheels are great and service good. Why advertise for them for free? They did their job in giving you good service. Do we now EXPECT sucky service? And in receiving good service are so surprised by it, that we sing the praises of a shop that did their damn job? |

QUOTE (Sam Strano @ Apr 27 2005, 10:06) And I thank you for that (as well as the others who run my stickers). I also appreciate it greatly. For the record, I don't really consider the "advertising" completely free. After all, I do spend a LOT of free time discussing options and often times talking people out of more expensive stuff if they don't need it. . I WOULD run stranoparts stickers if I had them.. (hint hint). But seriously, I ONLY put stickers on my car for stuff that is IN my car. I am not a fan of advertising for somebody unless they have treated me well in my racing experiences. (ie, Strano!) I understand your initial point Karen, but I don't mind running stickers if I run the products. As far as the BIG Quarter panel 2 foot tall and 2 foot high sticker, i am reserving that for the first person to sign up for my $600 annual sponsorship package... So, little stickers, no problem. BIG DECALS.. i need a little cash for a set of tires. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Brian |
