In the July 2005 issue of Popular Hot Rodding, they take a trip to GM's plant where they build the LS7. It's pretty interesting so far, and I didn't read it all yet. It's about 6-7 pages with pictures. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
"....the harmonic balancer is pushed onto the crank using 3,000 lbs. of hydraulic pressure." They also note that the "Zeta" platform has been cancelled by GM, thus there will be no Camaro in 2007 as hoped for. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) |
