Somebody from the club had this in their photo album. Does it look like my front end is lifting?
LG G2 springs, Revalved Bilsteins, and a lot of weight taken off the front end. (IMG:http://www.geocities.com/teutonic_speedracer/IMG_5010_resized.jpg) Oh, and this is the front stretch at Watkins Glen....can't tell exactly where, but it's probably in the 100-125mph range. Ok, here is the picture of the car at rest: (IMG:http://www.geocities.com/teutonic_speedracer/lowered_side1_s.jpg) Edited to make the picture fit, and to add car at rest. That photo looks like it was taken after the Start/Finish tower on the front straight, almost at the brake zone at turn 1.
... you gotta remember that at those speeds, hard on the throttle, that the amount of air being put into the engine compartment without any relief is going to 'lift' the front end. I had the same issues when I ran my SS at these high speed tracks. This post has been edited by PF Flyer: Aug 5 2005, 02:29 PM |
