I went shopping, for fun, and found a wrecked (claimed "drivable") C5 for $8,500. If it could provide most of the parts, you'd be under $30k for the basics. Still leaves a long way to go IMHO.
F5 said that $35-40k is more realistic, I'd contend that it's the low end. It's still a cool looking car - if I had the $$$, I'd build one.... |
