I've been slowly making Christine's bumper cover attachable with just 1/4 turn fasteners and a couple of latches. I was cutting the bumper cover where it attaches to the fenders and decided to cut the last little bits with a box cutter. Box cutter slipped and ended up fully lodged into the fleshy part where the thumb and forefinger meet. Missed the tendons but severed the muscle. My Grand Theft Auto days are over for a week at least, but the upside is that I can't wash dishes or make the bed. I angled for a sponge bath, but got shut down. Apparently being an idiot with a box cutter doesn't buy that much sympathy.

Moral of the story: be careful. I usually am, but it only takes once. At least my best friend waited until I was stitched up and leaving the emergency room before he stated his mind, "Way to go, dumbfuck." That's what friends are for. Jason |

Jason Been there too Jason, I use a box cutter every 3 to 10mins at work (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) it took me 10yrs to try and cut my index finger off in the same area (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Just go get yourself a one tooth hooker for that spoonge bath (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif) :leaving: Yeah Julie let's see those Gecko's! |
