We keep a house mate arround to help pay the bills. He decided the other day it was time for us to get a new TV.... Sunday, his 50" Sony SXRD beast was delivered...... the Daytona 500 is going to be NICE this year ;-)
Right now I'm watching idiots swim with great white sharks in HD..... and I didn't have to pay a dime. [/GLOAT] |

Wimps. You haven't watched TV until you've tried a 92" 16:9 screen and projector. I put one in our bonus room upstairs for Christmas, and it's absolutely INCREDIBLE. Best part is I only spent about $600 for the whole setup. I just upgraded the Dish receiver up there to the HDTV unit, and it's unbelievable. Plus, I've got my Xbox hooked up to it as well. Almost gives you motion sickness when you play racing games. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
Now if someone would only broadcast the F1 races in HD... I do have to say though, projectors are really only good for light controllable rooms. I'd love to get a 48" plasma for our family room, but they are still too expensive. |
