Howdy,
A couple "what the he** are these?" questions... First, I have no idea really what this is, but it looks like part of another part that was in a box labeled with "old slave"... Anyone know? (IMG:http://www.maracing.com/misc/IMG_0981.jpg) (IMG:http://www.maracing.com/misc/IMG_0982.jpg) 2nd, here are pics of the backing plate of two different types of (presumably) rear pads that were in the boxes... My guess, based on the other stuff in the boxes, is that the bottom pad is a rear pad for a '98+ fbody. Anyone know what the top pad fits? (IMG:http://www.maracing.com/misc/IMG_0989.jpg) Thanks! I guessed that the top pic was a throw-out bearing. I'm so proud of myself! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
And yeah, I knew the two at the bottom (pre '98 on top, '98+ on bottom) too. Considering I was handed a box with LS1 brake pads last time I bought them and had to argue with the guy trying to sell them to me that it wasn't the same thing as the LT1, I should know.
