I need some good axles for a 4th gen rear end. Mechanic is rebuilding my rear and he says the axles are in bad shape. Not surprising now that I know it, but damn I really don't want to pop for a set from GM. I'll have him put everything back together as is if I need to, but I'd rather not. I know it's a long shot, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask

I just happen to have three sets of axles at my house right now. Weight as follows:

Stock: 17lbs each with factory studs

Superior: 17.5lbs each with long ARP studs

Moser: 15lbs with factory studs

Interesting.
