I ran across this site a while back and it made me realize how little I know about what makes a car handle well. Started reading threads and wanted to ask questions so I joined up, also I wanted to use the search function.
I have 1998 Z28 M6 with a couple of bolt-ons, nothing suspension related though. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy the thrill of acceleration but going fast in a straight line cannot hold a candle to corner carving, IMHO. In two weeks, I am moving to Greensboro, NC, which is only an hour away from VIR. So it is time for me to bring the handling abilities up to scale with the acceleration abilities of the car. Not to mention driver abilities. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Now to get to the point. I will be asking many questions and wanted to thank you guys for your patience and understanding in advance. There is an enormous amount of information and insight on this board and I am going to tap in to it. |

I did notice how narrow it is and thought it might make passing so difficult it would be non-existant and that doesn't make for entertaining racing for the spectator. The thing is, IMHO, it is such a more dynamic track. Well atleast I will be able to watch the Rolex series there, now if we could get ALMS there I would be on cloud 9 even without F1.
