There is a slim chance I met that guy at a Giant Stadium autocross this year, I think his name is Rob. He showed up the first time with a black 4th gen then again with a gold 2nd gen, missing a lug nut due to a cross threaded stud. I noticed a few "various overlays/emblems" he got off of eBay. He didn't seem very argumentative in person.
But I have to say demodding a car doesn't make much sense either. Thats why I'm stuck autocrossing in CP instead of a lesser class. Ehh, you make your bed yada yada. That's the problem some people have with organized racing, the organization. Put them in an open class and they complain since they haven't spent enough money to be competitive. With drag racing you have a universal standard, best number wins, do whatever you want to get there. Swap over to something with rules and they have issues. |

They refuse to accept any kind of rule set, and have no respect for those who do follow rules. |
