Oddball question, but I'm replacing the stock lug nuts and bought Gorilla replacements. I guessed on the length of the nut, and while the new Gorillas are a tad shorter, it's threaded all the way whereas the stock lug nuts are not. In effect, I now have more thread in contact with the stud, plus some. Is there any problem with having more threaded lug nut than stud? I figure they shouldn't back off any faster than stock, or am I wrong? Seems like such a rudimentary question, but I've never come across it.
