I never kept up with 1LE stuff, but why wouldn't they have got the 36mm bar like the WS6?

3rd gen 1LE bar was 36. Either it's not a 1LE, or it's not 34mm.

I'm not familiar with the 3rd gens. I just sounded like it was a good deal and someone here should get it. He must have listed 1LE just to get the hits off of searches being done (which is how I got it)

the 1LE bar is the 36mm hollow bar correct? my 88 iroc had a 36mm hollow up front and 24mm solid rear bar. It was a stripper car though... That info came from TGO right? they don't have it entirely correct, iroc-zone did have all the info but i havent been over there in a long time.

I'm still running my original springs and 32mm front anti-roll bar. I don't think the antiroll bar diameter is the whole equation to handling: I think this table ought to list the spring rates of the F41, Z28, WS6, FE1, FE2, and FE3 for each model year. I'm pretty sure the spring rates changed from year to year. Thus, a 32mm swaybar on a 1984 WS6 with a relatively high spring rate, might be comparable in performance to a 1989 WS6 with softer springs and larger diameter swaybars. At least, that's my hypothesis.

Otherwise, the table doesn't tell the whole truth into the performance capability of each year's suspension configuration.

I'm running a 36mm front bar from a 92 WS6....I just tell people it's a 1LE bar; sounds cooler than FE2 and not as well known as WS6. Same bars as far as I know, and it was a noticable improvement over my stock 34mm F41 bar. And, yes, the 36mm is hollow (at least within my experience).
