Cool board. I usually hang out on LS1tech.com but someone refered me to this board for info on the 1999 1LE I just got. I picked it up cheap from a dealer that was selling it as a low optioned Camaro and had no clue it was a 1LE. The previous owner had no idea it was a 1LE either. Kind of a shame really. When I bought it I had no clue it was a 1LE either....lol. That is until I started going through the car to sqaure some minor things away. I noticed funny looking shocks with knobs on them, a tranny cooler and a few other things. So I looked at the door sticker...damn if it wasnt a 1LE. Heres a few pics (IMG:http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z213/alljonz/027.jpg) (IMG:http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z213/alljonz/020-1.jpg) (IMG:http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z213/alljonz/021-1.jpg) |

Actually..when I got the car it had no oil pressure...or atleast very low oil pressure. So I got it for a decent deal. I found a low mile motor (45k) and installed it. I wanted to see if the white intake would look ok so I painted it. It looks ok as long as its clean. If I get sick of it it will only take an hour to make it black again. No biggie. Actually...the car is on ebay now. I decided not to keep it...lol. Ill probably get a vette. |
