A cam and headers should do that for you pretty easy. Can you tune the PCM? If not, that will be an issue though esp since your car is MAP based, right? |

No cam change (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) for cmc unless it's a penut cam I think you can go to the 5 speed TPI cam. look for one from a 91-91 IB9 stick or L98 there the same. but check with the CMC guys first. I'll take "Tune to Win".
A cam and headers should do that for you pretty easy. Can you tune the PCM? If not, that will be an issue though esp since your car is MAP based, right? Headers might put the TPI over on torque. My motor makes 311HP / 317ft-lb at the rear wheels. Doesn't get much simpler then this. .030 over 305 Stock crank Eagle I-beam rods Cast pistons - 11:1 compression '113 AL Corvette heads (for weight, flow similarly to '083 TPI heads) 220/230 .502/.520 Comp hyd. roller cam New GM LS1 lifters Edelbrock Performer RPM intake Holley 600DP carb SLP 1 3/4" stainless shorty headers into a 3" Y-pipe with a Dynomax bullet on the end. Peak power at ~6000RPM, 4000-6500 powerband. The same motor with a TPI intake sucked for AI, but might be close for CMC2. Powerband was 3500-5000, maybe 5500 (TPI chokes it off). It definitely needed a tune. We got it OK to run, but never got it dialed in with the TPI. This post has been edited by nape: Jun 12 2008, 05:20 AM |

Has anyone that bought books gotten them or heard anything?? This guy is a long-time member here so I doubt seriously that he's a scammer...but any more than one day without hearing from a seller after sending payment makes people nervous.

They are going out tomorrow....I usually ship things out through work. Good thing is it costs ME less, bad is that I don't always get free to get this taken care of.....I'll post office all the books tomorrow.... |
