The Trans Am was sold in Oct to a forum member (enjoy) and I had the S4 a daily driver since last spring. I had enough of the little electrical issues and traded the Audi in for a GTO last night. Got a '04 six speed with 27k on the clock. It's no f-body but close enough.

Glad to have you back. You'd you sell the old car to? How long before the GTO is on track (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

I got to take it eazy for a bit...(racing became a sore subject at the Sentimay house) When I brought it home, and the wife saw it was a stick, first thing out of her mouth was "So you got a stick to take it to the track now?!?" Everything in due time and moderation... Probably late summer... I'll get a friend to drag me out there to 'help out in the pits'.... My dad switched out his brakes to a Baer kit shortly after getting his '04. Much better than the OE stuff, but I don't know how they compare to the '05/'06 brakes.

Glad you're back to an LS1? How's Richmond treating you? Had enough of the snow yet? There's been some talk of a road course at VMP, but I have no info yet, the autox scene is pretty good there though. One of the guys down here in our club has an 04 with a full on Pedders suspension set up. The car is pretty fast for it's girth.

My wife is always bugging me about getting a motorhome for the track and was bummed when our tax return wouldn't buy her a nice set of track radios. |
