Is that a de coupled torque arm? And will this fix brake hop issues?
I would be interested in the diff cover also. |

Kevin, will do.
Any suggestions? This wasn't meant to be a for sale post, yet. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) It is not a decoupled torque arm, it is the Global West Tracklink. http://www.globalwest.net/82-02-firebird-r...components.html This post has been edited by 98_1LE: Aug 7 2013, 04:34 PM |

Kevin, will do. Any suggestions? This wasn't meant to be a for sale post, yet. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) It really depends on mileage. I've had such varied luck with Koni's that used ones can be "perfect" and they can occasionally be nearly junk. That's where it's tough. If it was known history stuff (from your car, 10k miles, etc) that would really help. The cover is likely fine if all the hardware is there and whatever used value is on those (I don't even remember the price of a new one anymore). So, I'm basically no help at all. lol. What would the core/junk value be on the shocks? I suspect the fronts are the original 1LE shocks, with 99,4xx miles. Few of which appear to have been easy. The rears are obviously not the originals, but I wouldn't want to sell bum product as good.
The fronts aren't even off the car yet, and is at Glenn's. |

The shocks I'd say sell them as rebuildable cores, unless you know they're low-mileage. Say go half-price for the front coil-over parts, there's not a lot that can go wrong there. The PHB and LCAs are just a step up from OEM, so probably $20 each there. The trac-link is a real unknown with me, so I'll defer there. The rear cover is probably $45-$50?
Or $100 for the whole kit to get it out of your house. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif) But I'm offering nothing here. I have enough parts for our 4th Gen. |
