I have an MSD Pro Billet small cap distributor for an '87 and up Chevrolet V8. I bought a new one for the Camaro after we completed the cage. It has less than an hour of run time on it and was only used to warm up the engine a couple times and load it on a trailer to store it for a bit. Excellent condition.

$235 plus freight

It's this one:

I have an original MSD 6AL. I extended the wires to the coil (with 600 Volt rated wire, solder joints are covered with double heat shrink with sealer). I still have the box and the bag of hardware that came with it. Very good to excellent condition.

$160 plus freight

MSD Blaster SS coil, excellent condition and includes the vibration isolators as shown in the link. This coil makes slightly less voltage than some of the others (but 40k volts is plenty) but if you look at the ratings, it makes roughly double the current of the other coils which makes for a much hotter spark. It's a much better coil overall than most of the other coils (including the MSD regular Blaster and Blaster II, etc).

$30 plus freight

This one:

I just ordered a new HEI for the Corvette so this stuff isn't needed. I'll gladly combine freight on stuff. If you need it, make me an offer. Pics on request.

Thanks!

Kevin,

Do you have the part number for that 6AL? If it's right, it would be nice to have a spare.

I can get it at home. It's the original 6AL (the "original recipe" that's been around for 30 years, same version I had on my 1989 Formula in 1991).

It's this style and it should be the 6420 (Sad I remember/recognize part numbers from my days at Jegs).

And I'll have to go check to see what we have. It's also an old one, but I thought the rev. limiter plug is on the narrow side on our MSD. We'll be making another attempt at an exhaust this weekend, so I'll be out in the shop and can have a closer look. Thanks.

Keep me posted. We can ship the 10AN hoses and all in one shot. We'll get it worked out.

Thanks!

That's what I was thinking, too. I forgot to get the P/N for the MSD we have when I was out in the shop earlier. I'll get to it this afternoon.

Hmm, it's P/N: 6400, and it appears to be before they started printing the model on the case, because all that's there is 'Multiple Spark Discharge' The rev control is a separate unit. It looks like a 6AL can replace what we have, which is NLA, so I guess we'll take it, if you still have it. Thanks.

Yup, the 6400 was the 6A and the 6420 was the 6AL. They are a direct swap for each other.

I'll send you a pm.

Ok. $200 on the distributor. I can't see me using it anytime soon, so it may as well find a good home. That's a distributor in excellent condition (virtually new) for about $100 off.

Anyone?

Excellent. On the leads I extended, if one is black and one is red and I used red and white....(or similar)....red is actually red, and the other is the opposite one. I didn't have all the exact colors and you might not need the extensions anyway. I figured I'd mention it to save you taking things apart.

$195 plus freight on the distributor. That's $100 off for 1 hour of run time.
