I figured this would be an ideal website to see if anyone out there still has their original AM/FM CD player from their 94 Camaro. I have the factory cassette version and I would prefer to keep the factory look in the car so something a little more modern is what I am hoping for. If you do want to part with your stereo, please send me pics, your final price and ensure that it is in excellent working order. Thanks.

We have one, but it's not working. I got a working copy from:
http://www.originalcaraudio.com/ They restore and repair factory radios. I don't remember if they listed one for our 95, or if I just called them, but I do know I called them, and they set me up. Service was great, and the system is still working fine after 2 years. Give them a call to see if they have something that'll work. |

Thanks for the reply. I was kind of trying to keep the interior to look as original as possible, plus a direct swap was also what I was hoping for. Looks like a nice fit and finish though. No problem. Just wanted to show you there is a descent looking option. The new decks have nice options like bluetooth, mp3 and ipod, even in the cheapest ones. They just look out of place. The mount to me cleaned that up a lot. There is a black lighted version that makes it look even closer to stock. I just had silver gauges, so went with the brushed look. I have my stocker, but I have all my stock parts saved, even the motor, trans, diff and exhaust. A very tolerant wife too. Devo. Awesome. LOL, Uncontrollable Urge is one of my favorite driving songs. I have a racing playlist for autocross. Oddly had not thought of the song for 15-20 years and saw it used on an episode of Nitro Circus. This post has been edited by Rampant: Apr 4 2015, 02:17 PM |
