It's time for me to say adios to my winter beater.
My 2 contenders are: 2015 Subaru WRX Sport Tech package 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Premium package Any opinions ? I did not consider the STI/Evolution due to price gap and i only want a winter beater that has some fun to drive. I definitely don't want a fwd boring car. |

just figured i'd share that the car only last 1.5 years without going under the knife
The winter beater, dd was a sloutch. So ended up going w/ an extra 80+hp and 100+tq. The car is much more fun to drive and didn't touch the internals. Still on stock turbo... but way less lag and much more low/mid tq... which i wanted. Oh well... i think I have a problem w/ cars... lol |

I'm amazed it took you this long.
One of these days I'm going to need to drive up there and visit you again. It's been a while... |

Anytime Kevin House is much bigger... Plenty of room. I'm thinking about adding a 3rd garage with lift Bigger? The last place was pretty nice. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I'm looking for land and space to build a proper garage. Going to look at a house tonight. It's on 5 acres. |

We got 2.5 acres out in the county with the explicit idea of eventually building a shop. The house was so-so, but has been a great place to sleep until we get up to go out to the shop. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif) It took a while to build up some equity, but we refinanced after about 9 years of ownership and then built the shop. If you go that route, plan the shop now, so you can be prepared to pare it back to fit your budget. Concrete continues to be stupid-expensive. It was 1/2 the cost of the shop! |

Here's a present project toy room in progress in the basement. View from the front row... Far from finished |
