I've been going over this and this is what I've come up with ....

Mine is about $5000 ....

Events:
$1500 - Fees (5 events)
$400 - travel related expenses (2 events*)

Consumables:
$1500 - Tires (2 sets)
$250 - brake pads (1 set)
$400 - front rotors (1 pair)

Repairs:
$500 - to fix what I break

* I live 15 minutes from a race course

That is the short list. How does your compare? Do you even want to know?
