After seeing Glenn's post on his weight, I figured I'd post mine. See the last three pictures here:
http://community.webshots.com/album/283806663TtkSXZ This is with me in the car (I took the picture from inside), full tank of gas, helmut, gloves, shoes, neck brace. I get dynoed tomorrow and I have some breathing room regardless of what happens. NO MODS!!!! I am lazy and proud of it. |

I knew your weight was stellar...
But I'll bet my stereo sounds better and my power windows/mirrors/locks work better, too! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

Keith: Just curious about what offsets those rims have. It looks as though you'd be riding on the fenders. Any troubles?
I'm going to try to put 16 x 10 rims with 30mm offset and 265's on mine, but I'd like to hear about other's experiences first. |

Those are 3rd gen GTA rims. They are my rain tires and have 16mm offset. My dry tires will arrive this week and I will install them on the remaining four 0mm offset GTA wheels (they will stick out more). I've been progressively raising the ride height and the wheels that are on there do not rub. I'm not sure about the 0mm's though...

Mine ride real close to the fender lips. I've got 2.25 inch clearance though from the top of the wheel to the fender lip. It looks as though you don't have nearly that much. So whadya think. Am I going to be allright?
