I had a trans shipped from Florida to Texas.

The shop wrapped it in plastic wrap and bubble wrap, then tie wrapped it to a wooden pallet.

Thanks Jules! I think we get deliveries at my work (Moss Motors) from them, maybe it would be cheaper to send it to work...

How's the new CMC car comin' along??? I'm not planning on attending Infineon OR THill, so I'll have to wait to see it and you at the next So Cal event I guess. :-(

Christine

No problemo fast sister! The new car is very nice to drive...sorry I missed out on Cal Speedway, I know it would have done well there. I am looking forward to Buttonwillow on my birthday week, we should take a photo there of us and our cars together!

Could be interested in the wheels/tires. Do you have any pics of them?

May be interested in the tranny... give me 24-ish hours?

Anyone know how to ship a tranny? Amtrak?

I sent one FedEx ground.

I took a pair of 2x4's, bolted one vertically on each set of bellhousing mounting bolts (this was a T5), nailed a set of boards across those (think of a tic, tac, toe board) then I ran boards lengthwise to the rear (and front to protect the input shaft) and build another tic, tac, toe "frame" to hold the tailshaft. I put end plates/boards on it and wrapped the whole thing in cardboard (from a Ford shipping box for a crate motor) and stapled it on with a staple gun. It went from Ohio to New York for about $75 (at 105 lbs).

Ok, been gone racing for a while so I thought I would bring it back to the top.

Doug bought the Global West Uppers.

I have one bite on the Torque Arm.

Should be picks of the wheels and tires in my sig, let me know if that doesn't work you can email me at anthonye76@yahoo.com and I can send you all the pics you want of it.

The headers are sold, just gotta get them off the car

Mufflex is sold

The brakes however are up for grabs again. Selling them with the complete upright, with brand new GM wheel bearings, ARP studs, ProSpeed brackets, Porsche calipers and rotors, stainless lines, and Ferodo DSC 2500 pads.

There is a bunch of good stuff on the car, hell the body is in almost brand new condition if anyone is looking for a good project to start a street car or race car from. Don't find to many this straight without rust on them anymore.

Be gone to MidOhio 19-21st of this month as well so either way you can get ahold of me on here or by email.

Howdy,

I'd be interested in the 1LE heater box, ducts, and controls if they'll work on a '99 LS1 car...

I don't want to loose the heater when I ditch the A/C and I've got enough fab projects...

Right now I haven't got far enough to piece out the inside of the car. If I could get most of the suspension and drivetrain sold I might hold onto the body as it was my first new car and I hate to let go of all of it just yet.

The HVAC stuff is about 1000 miles away from me right now back at a storeage bin that I dropped everything off of after college so it might be a while before I could get to those parts.

I'm probably going to have most of the drive train out of the car by the weekend so I could have the brakes, motor, suspension, and most other parts out before monday if anyone is interested, shoot me a PM and we cna work on prices.

I'm still interested in the TA. Let me know when you get it out of the car. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Where in Texas are you located. I may be interested in the coilovers if I am able to drive and get them. Maybe the brakes, too.

I live right around Addison, my work is in Wylie.

I'm planning on having the TQ arm off on Saturday as well as Brandon's parts so I can have them shipped out Tuesday (UPS doesn't ship on Monday)

PM returned.

Exhaust is sold
Y pipe sold
Headers sold
Pressure plate and clutch disk sold (flywheel says with the motor)
TQ Arm is sold
Brakes are on hold for someone
Upper Control arms are sold

Lotta parts still left, at this point I would rather not start selling off single interior parts unless someone is interested in buying just a shell, but the price has to be right for that.

I would like to sell the motor and tranny, PM or email me for details.
