I got mine this afternoon also. Mine also included the lugs and stems. 17X9.5 chrome 24.5 lbs. 17X11 chrome 27.75 lbs.

Hi guys. It’s been a while.

Would someone who got painted wheels weigh them and post results.
I am mainly interested in the 17” x 9.5”.
I see the weight of the chromed version.

Thanks,
Bob

I got polished ones, which should be the same weight or lighter than painted wheels. In the 17x9.5, the OEs are 26 lbs. on my digital bathroom scale which displays down to 1/2 lb. (my weight holding the wheel - my weight alone). So, that makes them definitely heavier than AFS wheels, which is what I expected from previous posts here and which I don't mind since I got these for street wheels. About a month ago I got new AFS 17x11 50mm polished wheels and using the same weighing method on the same scale, they were 24.5 lbs. each.

My 17x11 painted rims were 27.5~27.75 also on a medical balance beam scale, about the same as reported above for chrome (but not on the same scale).

My wheels are the same on a medical scale as well. ~27.5 lbs I'm just going to have to get a Fidanza to compensate on the acceleration end.

Yes, but I'll need your zip code for a shipping quote.

I'm waiting on another FRRAX member to give me a quote on used 17x11x50's.. I need to see what he comes back with first. If he's too high, I'll be buying a set for sure.

When you have time, can you give me a shipping quote/total so I can compare? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Silver or the Gun Metal would be fine.

I got mine yesterday. That was really quick.

Now are you accumulating another set of people for the next purchase?

Nope. I'm just ordering them as I get them. After the initial order, they offered to extend the discount pricing to us for any extra sets (though they had a slight price increase since the main order went in).

What is considered a slight price increase? If prices are around the same, I might have to start saving for another set.

So far, it looks like $3.00 a wheel (at least at this point).
