Thanks trackbird!

I wondered about that, I had a difficult time reading the stamp on the envelope, but decided I had it right after looking at it a few times. Glad you got them.

Wasn't your fault.. the label is correct... the UPS guy screwed up and delivered to my neighbors house...

I hate UPS and try to avoid them at all costs... UPS isn't really UPS down here.. it's outsourced, and they suck.

What is it.. something about hand grenades? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

received mine on September 8.

This is the 5th and 6th wheel I purchased from OE and I have never got any free lugs, stems, or locks?

It must be a random thing.

Looks like I might need another wheel. One of the 17X9.5 black GS wheels that I already had has a crack in the back lip. I found this after having it repainted to be my street rim (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif) . It sucks because this was true GM rim. So is it possible to just buy one more rim?

I doubt if the reproductions look exactly like the originals in the outer lip area. Maybe this isn't an issue for you, but you might want to look at an "OE" rim side by side with an "OEM" rim and make sure they are close enough to suit you.

Actually they are pretty close to the 17X11 OE wheels that I already have as far as the polished lip size. I was kind of worried about the weight but that should not make any real difference for a street wheel.

Kevin, make sure you let us know before this is over!

I'm going to probably wait until the last possible moment to order a set! I'm going to try something bold and fit 11's on the front of a 3rd gen, it is a winter project. Should be legal for SM, right? I'm going to make custom spindles that will push the strut in towards the engine, and shorten the steering arm and/or move it up. We'll see how it turns out.

I don't know if it will change after the new year or not. Meaning, it might be close to time. I can try to get in touch with them next week and see what they can tell me.

Well, unfortunately I found out that this is now over (indirectly of course).

I called yesterday to order a set of wheels for a member here and was quoted $89 freight (should have been $14 a wheel) and I was told that since we were buying 4 17x11's, they had to split a set and they charge $40 extra for 4 11's. So, if I buy 1 or 2, it's ok, but if I want 4, they charge $40 extra? And, the price on the wheels suddenly went up.

The background is that my wholesale contact there is gone, the guy who is now working wholesale seems to not care how many wheels we've bought and looks to be intent on charging nearly retail for any additional sets.

So, unless I can find another wheel supplier, it appears that we are done.

Sorry guys.

Randy, it's not a problem. As a matter of fact, I'd have posted about them here for you, but I forgot.

If they lay around long enough, I might buy them.

I guess that's fair (snooze you loose (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rant.gif) )
So, what would the cost be for 4 gunmetal 17x11's shipped to 48067 now? Is it even worth it for me to buy the wheels through you kevin?

Unless I find a new dealer, it's probably not worth having me try to order them for you. I'm going to make a few calls when I get time (as soon as I figure out who else to work with, I'll probably try AFS).

I didn't even get a set for myself yet..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif)
