Ran an event yesterday. A 1st gear course, but I took the class, and should PAX pretty well. BUT, we had one competitor's Honda throw a rod and catch fire, we had another go through a chain link fence in his Boxster, breaking a lower control arm, a wheel, and scratching up the body. But by far the worse carnage of the day was a guy that slipped while climbing the fence, and damaged a place we guys do not want damaged. He was taken to a local hospital where he received 7 stitches. He came back later in the day to take his car home, and seemed to be doing pretty well.

God's way of weeding out those that shouldn't pro-create.

What exactly is a 1st gear course and how do you end up driving through a fence when doing something that slow? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
