As an 11 year attendee and former event chairman for this event, I can offer you guys some guidance on this event.
If you are a hard core racer, and don't give a @#$% about your fellow owners and drivers, only attend events to compete and get pissed off when you don't win...please do not go to this event. You will ruin it for the people that do go. If you love F-body cars, an occasional Vette or Stang, practical jokes and regular jokes, comraderie, some (or even many) beers with friends, and some good looking cars (sometimes a few women too) then you will likely love this event. Bring the wife (husband, sig other) and kids but give them Mall money because they may get bored with all the fun you are having. It is a laid back and informal weekend. Sign up for at least one event, even if you don't want to compete because that is how they pay the track bills. Show your car in the car show. Nobody really cares if it is not perfect. The perfect cars do not attend this event. And if you win an event...brag about it to all your friends...you are a National Event Champion. |
