I just checked online and I'm officially an AWS Certified Welding Inspector. The test was not easy but it was definitely worth it. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) However I can never look at any of my previous welds now. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

Oh I've seen worse, but working at a power plant we tend to get the better welders on ASME code jobs. On the other hand I've seen some downright scary welds on scrubber ductwork. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Howdy,

Sweet! Congrats!

So how about designing up a weekend course for MIG welding targeted at typical racecar fabrication?
