Is anyone watching this show on ABC?
It reminds me of "Don't be eliminated" that used to come on Spike. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif) |

It seems like a cheap American copy, as are most American copies of successful foreign TV series. I don't know what it is, timing, trying to be 'like' the original, but not 'like' the original at the same time? The current line of American TV show producers just not as good as they used to be? We found it to be nowhere as funny as MXC. Perhaps they are trying to be too safe? I kind of equate it with the American version of Coupling. What a stinker, but then, they _were_ copying tghe Britcom, down to the lines, and some of the characters. What a stinker. Just my take on it. |

I love wipeout. From the first commercial I saw and through all the episodes, I have laughed like a child. The commentary is excellent, Jill is great when she outright laughs AT people. Where they get these people I have no idea. Oh yeah, it's in California. We grow nuts like it's going out of style.
