trackbird was kind enough to approve me to post this, despite it being my first post.

I USED to run autocross locally, but had a BAD wreck a few years ago, so I will no longer be racing nor need these wheels.

I have 4 88-92 GTA gold crosslace wheels...NO paint peeling, NO clear coat peeling, NO curb rash. I'm in Austin, TX & will ship, buyer pays shipping.

Was asking $150/each for the fronts, $125/each for the rears. ffrax was my last chance before lowering my asking price. Of course, I'm open to offers, but.....

I do have the center caps, although you wouldn't run the centers on-course anyways so.....

The car in my sig is NOT wearing the wheels I have for sale. Those were custom painted yellow to match the stripes on the car. The wheels I'm selling still have the OEM gold paint.

Let me apologize for the typo...I had the front & rears switched on the price, as I bet you suspected.

Fixed above & I'll email you direct also.

The fronts were shipped, despite me being taken advantage of, by my typo on the price.

Please, lets not go down this road. You admitted that you did typo the price and you had the choice of honoring it, changing it and holding out for another sale, or keeping the wheels. You decided to honor the price and sell the wheels. I'm sorry you made a mistake, but you did still have options and you chose one of them.

Just making an observation. I now return you to your regularly scheduled sale of the rear wheels.

I hate being a nice guy...I shouldn't have bothered honoring my typo. Even though I did offer a discount, between my typo & the price it was supposed to have been.

Then somebody else wants the center caps here, but never responds. Not a good first impression of frrax.com, besides trackbird.

Steve

Steve,

Did you send them a PM? Some people will forget to come check on a post from time to time. It happens on every board I've ever been on. I surely wouldn't base my opinion of anything on that one issue. But it's your call.

Steve,
You haven't given the rest of us a good first impression of you. It's a two-way street.

Sincerely,
Chad

I only came on here to sell...Not join a community.

I can't race anymore, so there really isn't anything here for me, except a place to sell.

Now you are making me sad. You can always be involved in our community - not everyone can afford to race. Sometimes it is an injury keeping folks off the track. If you have the time please volunteer at the track - there is always a need for track workers. Talk about the best seat the house! If I am not racing I am volunteering to help my race group. I love racing too but circumstances don't always permit being behind the wheel, doesn't mean you have to give up your passion or participation. This community is made up of those at all levels, hope you decide to stick around. If you feel like talking about "it" there are plenty of understanding ears.

3+ hours drive to the nearest autocross "track".....
I'm physically permanently disabled, which rules out running for cones on-course, or even setting up......
Voice disabled, which rules out announcements.....
Classified as "Unemployable" (3 years of government help looking for a job with NO luck, only reinforces that), which rules out even affording the gas to/from the track......
I live strictly off Social Security Disability & selling parts when I can, which explains why what ReEntryRacer took advantage of a typo, bothered me so much. $50 is a lot....TOO ME. He knew very well, that the Fronts/Rears price was switched. I shoulda been like others & not honored my typo price. Yes, it was my mistake. I know that.

I've dealt with 3 Canadians...All 3 times I've been burned. Maybe that says something about Canadians & them......

And all that is only the tip of the iceberg.
Didn't wanna "spill my guts" here, but you asked......

Sorry about your "condition", but now you've pissed me off also, being Canadian an all. I can say the same about alot of Americans I've dealt with over the years, but then I'd be stereotyping. Maybe this board isn't for you bitter man. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Well, I think that about wraps this one up. If anyone needs a set of rear GTA wheels or center caps, just send a PM to the author of this thread. If not, send it to me and I'll send a PM or e-mail.
