This is a pretty amazing amount of work. He also built his own english wheel, dimple dies and a few other tools along the way. I was pretty impressed.

A lot of nice fabrication there. I'm guessing the guy is either retired or a part time farmer, or something like that.

He's using a lot of thick steel, hopefully it isn't too heavy when he is done.

One of our local guys designed and built an Ariel Atom replica without ever having seen one in person.

So he started with a MG with an aluminum V8, and is ending up with a Vette with a couple of MG front fenders and a whole lot of fabbed up metal panels? Wow. I wonder if changing the optispark on a MG is any easier than on ANY GM body? :-D

I guess it might have been a good time for an LS1 swap in the C4. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

There isn't much MG left, I thought it was still a pretty impressive undertaking.

Maybe that's his next step. He'll probably master and cast his own intake manifold and construct his own dry sump pan and tank. :-D
