We got a 80's/90's Saganaw pump cap off a Dodge truck. Got it out of a junk yard for almost nothing. It fit perfectly, and has that baffle. It completely solved my PS fluid puking issues in our 3rd Gen C Prepared Firebird. It's a two-driver car in southeast Texas, so the fluid gets plenty hot. That, and the factory 'loop' type cooler was all we've needed. Wish I could have stayed with that same setup with the new engine. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
People have mentioned pros and cons regarding coil-overs, and I'll add another con for the front. Front coil-overs will further limit the tire width of the tire you can put under the car. That, and the spring in the factory location is low, which would be a good thing. |

And if you don't already have a "wonder bar" for your front subframe to stiffen up the steering box issues, you need to buy one first. That by itself will make the car drive and feel different immediately. Anyway, just my .02 cents... Curious- What is a "wonder bar"? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I've not heard that term before. aka 'wander bar' it's a brace for the frame rails http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/suspensi...wonder-bar.html |
