So now that I've decied to convert my LT1 front end to an LS1 front end, I've been thinking a lot about making it a front breather.
Why don't more people do it? Seems like a little trimming of the Impact foam and bumper beam and you could duct air directly to the radiator instead of scooping it from the bottom. The openings in the bumper are about 70 sq inches combined. Seems like it would be plenty for the radiator. Seems like it would be a more efficient design and create less lift at speed. For those who have done it, how does it preform? |
