oh no, for auto-x weekends running in CP. I just have always intended to use the car for 'dual' purpose.
On a side note, my coilovers are late. should get them early next week, and maybe installed for MSR.
.... slowly but surely goes the build.

Man... a pair of those would make a real pretty coffee table when they're all used up. Just add glass top. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

They'll be even prettier on your car rolling around the track. Have fun with 'em! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

We run the Hoosier version of those on the Crash Test Dummy Firebird. You should love those. Slicks are great fun!!

I get Hoosiers from my local Discount Tire dealer. Don't know who he orders them from. Alternately, you can order them from R&S Racing (http://www.rsracing.com/).

If I remember correctly, we used to get Hoosiers direct from the mfg. at Discount Tire. That just serves to remind me how much I hate mounting tubed drag slicks.

I've not bought anything from Ron, but he is a really nice guy, and used to pay contingency to Cendiv, and Midwest div

Hoosier Tom from Midatlanticmotorsport.com sells Hoosier, and Goodyear slicks also.

If I remember correctly, we used to get Hoosiers direct from the mfg. at Discount Tire.  That just serves to remind me how much I hate mounting tubed drag slicks.

Ours are tubeless. It _still_ takes about an hour for them to mount the tires. One of our wheels seems to be about 1-2 mm too big (in diameter), causing all sorts of bead fit issues. It takes about 45 minutes to mount one of the wheels, 15 minutes to do the rest of the set. :-)

They're getting better. The first time I took them in to get changed, the entire crew took turnes at that wheel, and it took almost 3 hours.

I am reminded constantly why I don't change my own tires. There are more important things to worry about in my life!
