I can never understand the wild differences in insurance.

I'm 31, married, I've had 28 tickets (2 in the last year, one of those was out of state, for as much as 41 mph over the limit and a single suspension for not paying a ticket), no accidents (ok, they considered my T-top that flew off and hit a car an accident, so 1 accident) and I pay about $80 a month for my 2002 z28.

My friend is 24, has a 99 Mustang GT same town and all, had a wreck and a ticket 2 years ago, just got a ticket 2 months ago, his bill shows up for $532 a month???? They managed to get it down to $323 a month, but it increases every month (this month is was $338???).

I love my agent, or I guess I should.

I was told that credit ratings effect your insurance premiums.

Makes since, Since I've had the same agent almost since I started driving.

This jerk also had the nerve to tell me that the only reason it would be changed is from state mandated changes or something.

Turns out that was when I turned 25.

My latest insurance bill was $157. The Camaro is still in storage, but I expect the monthly charges to be about $100 less. Plus when my wife turns 25 it will be lowered even more.
