****BOTH VEHICLES ARE SOLD****
Thanks to Kevin for providing this venue to all of us. I have had some great results dealing with members here. ****** Who needs a stout tow vehicle for this season? First vehicle came to me by way of my current girlfriend. ( If I was married, could I do all this car stuff??? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ) Belonged to her deceased husband and has been driven little over the past 2 years. It was used routinely to pull a 24 ft boat. 1995 Ford F250 2 wheel drive - ONE OWNER - The GF said it was almost $40k new but she is blonde so..... (IMG:http://www.texasinterceptors.com/images/f250.jpg) 168,xxx miles 460 Big Block Tow Package Extended Cab Dual Fuel Tanks Receiver Hitch Newer tires Travel Time Conversion Sorta blue/purple color - says Iredescent Blue. Sure is different NEW A/C Aftermarket Head Unit electric windows/doors cruise bed liner diamond plate bed rails nicks/dings/interior wear consistent with an 11 year old vehicle Windsheild is cracked but still passes TX Inspection- not obvious in pics Pulled my 32' enclosed trailer with '96 TA inside no problem. I try to do right by everyone and with everything I sell. I noticed some rear end binding around corners today when I was driving it. The rear end will be RIGHT before it is sold. $5700 Free delivery within 250 miles of Dallas. Will deliver anywhere for a reasonable fee. More Pics ********** 1995 Z28 (IMG:http://www.texasinterceptors.com/images/merkel.jpg) 127,xxx miles M6 T Tops Dark Green Gray cloth Transplanted 50k mile Lt1 New Clutch New fuel pump New PS Pump New coolant reservoir New radiator New water pump New AC system front to back New console new dashpad new console new windshield new shocks (deCarbons - oh well) New Eagle F1 DS3's - less than 1k miles New radio speakers Newer T-tops --some small scuffs Upgraded 150mph cluster various replacement interior trim power driver seat Clear title No engine/driveline mods the not so good: Paint is awful - scratched front to back by previous owner's dog. 2-3 small dents by radio antenna Nose is split on passenger's side 2-3" and looks to be a different color. I see no additonal evidence of a front end collision and I have been all over this car Rear hatch glass is scratched and I priced a replacement @ $228 Driver side splash guard - by headlight well is broken and not attached by all conectors. It had been cut out to allow more air flow ( I guess) I replaced the splashguard but some of the attachment points on the lower fender are gone. 2 holes in rear hatch that looks like the previous owner had a wing mounted. Very loud, poorly done catback -- is serviceable but needs to be replaced -ASAP AM/FM works-CD does not. I would replace the head unit Windows work -- but slowly Has '97 tailights - pass side is slightly cracked Starter does not always engage on first try Also had underbody neons ( removed) Manual fan switch (removed) Various other white trash crap (removed) All major mechanical work was done by GM certified tech. Almost $6k in the car and I know I will never get that out of it. I have been debating getting the car painted and just can't see making that investment. It is a good, strong driver and needs someone to sort it out. $4800 - Free delivery within 350 miles of Dallas - Also open to vehicle/engine/firearms/parts/shop equipment trades of any value. On the "A" list would be: 383 stroker M6 conversion complete .40/.45 autos Tactical rifles Plasma cutter Suzuki Samurai 2500 Suburban 454 4x4 Only 3500 Dually Duramax only What ya got? QUOTE (CMC#5 @ Jan 24 2006, 11:48) Looks like it sold eh? Congrats Al, Unfortunately no. It is beyond me how someone who has been on eBay for a year with 2 dozen transactions doesn't understand that Buy It Now means just that. It has been relisted: Z28 on eBay eBay is becoming more and more frustrating. Andy |

Who parks a car where 2 pit bulls with big a** heavy chains attached can get all over the car? I shoulda walked away on this one since it has taken me 6 months and mucho dinero to make it right. BTW, white trash options are readily available at a Wal Mart nearby. My favorite store (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

That sucks man. Shitty ebay users are a pain in the ass. I always worry about that when I buy things on there...never sold anything on there though.
Anyway, on to business...I like the car, here's my offer: one Remington 700PSS in 308. Its got less than 300 rounds through it, has a compensator on the end of the barrel (kinda looks like a comp on the end of a tank barrel, not vertical holes), Harris bipod, big monster adjustable power scope (believe its a Leupold but I don't remember) with range finding reticle, sun shade, flip up caps, hard case with cut out foam to carry it and cleaning equipment. This whole rig ran in the vecinity of $1700 when I put it together. one Kimber 1911 in .45. Its completely stainless steel with rubber grips that have an integral laser and compression switch, and I have three or four high quality mags. This one has maybe 500 rounds through it. one Bushmaster AR-15 that is essentially brand new. I bought it, and it has a feeding issue. It'll jam, and when you pull the jammed bullet the nose of the bullet itself is scored badly. Its an easy fix to either replace or grind/file the ramp...you can feel the sharp edges with your finger. Right after I bought it was the last time I shot a rifle so its been sitting waiting for attention. Less than 100 rounds. It comes with at least four 30rd mags. $1000 in good old American greenbacks I figure this combo is a low of $3200 and a high of $4000, depending on obviously the prices of each of the guns. I simply ran some queries on gunbroker to see what auctions are closing at (not listed at). My terms are you handle the FFL situation as you are the buyer, I pick up the car the weekend of March 4 to coincide with the Texas CMC race at MSR (that's close to Dallas isnt it?) What do you think? |

hehehe I want to go to a Tx CMC so bad you don't even know. I might get tarred and feathered, or it might be a big party...some days it feels like the former, some the later (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif) Either way I gotta get out there and meet the clan face to face (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If anyone's interested in a replacement rear hatch to go on this Z... I've got one in black from a 2002 Z28 with the glass. It does not have a defroster and it does have a couple of VERY small spider webs on the wing. I can do much better than 288 for the whole unit. Let me know!
