There are a couple of list members in the Houston area. I'm in Pearland, which is southeast of the Houston metropolitan area. I like it that way.

Sorry you scratched the trip. Of course, last weekend would have been the weekend to be here. The Houston Region SCCA hosted an autocross for the State Subaru club on Saturday, and then put on a regional event on Sunday.

yeah, i'm disappointed too. too many people at work pushing me to get too much stuff done. It's frsutrating, no wonder we had 4 engineers in my department quit in 13 months. We only have 5 engineers in my department. I'm burned out and really need a vacation. Not that 25 hours of driving each way is going to be very enjoyable.

You could make the trip in your Metro! Then, it would be an adventure!! Just think, when you got back, the pressure at work would _seem_ like a vacation. :-)

Hang in there. Too much work beats the alternative.

the metro would cost too much to drive, we were planning on towing down a friend's car with my truck. Maybe I should see if I can work in our Houston office Thursday & Friday then I'd only be missing 1 day. My bigger concern is the lack of sleep already being burnt out.
