I lost one of my entry fobs along time ago, and now that im gonna be driving the car more, i want to get another replacement fob. Does anyone know if you can buy a used one and reprogram it to work with another car? I have a 97', so i think i need a 97' or newer fob. the 93 to 96 fobs are different.

I don't know what the cutoff is for the year differences, but I know you can reprogram the bcm/fobs to talk to each other. When you do one, you have to do the other one in the same session.

The procedure is pretty easy but I don't remember the exact steps positively 100% for sure. They're posted around the net though. I know you pull the radio fuse (which after going through all my wiring a few weeks ago, that fuse actually goes to the bcm, not to the radio). Then turn the key on and off 3 times, leaving it on the last time. Then I think you hold down both buttons on the first fob for up to 15 seconds. You'll hear the doors lock and unlock, and the hatch release. That means that fob is ready. Then, without turning the key off, go ahead and do the second fob. Then turn the key off, put the fuse back in, and you're done.

I bought a '98 TA back in the fall, and it didn't have any fobs with it. I scavenged the two from the '98 Camaro, since I was planning to gut it anyway....
