I've had requests for a 17x11/ZR1 wheel GP. So, I made some calls and sent a fax and am waiting to hear back on pricing for a group buy on 4 17x11's, or 4 17x9.5's or a set of two of each (meaning, we need to sell 5 sets of any of the 3 sizes). I hope to be able to get them in silver (stock looking), black or grey/charcoal. It looks like we'll need at least 5 buyers to get a deal (but I'll know for sure when I hear back from them). So, it's in the works and if anyone is interested, post and I'll see if we have the needed interest.
Paid: Rob (2 sets) Sean Bock JR Felton Russ Chris Meier Neil Rich Johnston Dennis Jackman Spooner |

I'd likely be in for a set of 17x11 50mm's myself, if the price is right (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . The best I came up with recently from a sponsor on another board was $429 + shipping.

Will they be the deep center bore or the newer style with the shallower center?

IF you can beat $430 a set, im definately in, especially if you can get the polished ones with the deep center bore( i don't think any of the knock-off companies make these anymore).

Hmmm... maybe. I already have a set of AFS's, but if the weight savings were there and the price was fair...
John @ CCW gave me a tour of their facility a couple of years ago, but I don't particularly care for the designs (nor the later models) for what they cost. I like the weight, though! |

Dam*, just bought some a month ago- might go in for a second set for rain tires though if the price is really good, but it would have to be REALLY good.

Any word Kevin? I sent a request for a possible GP to the source that quoted me $429 + shipping. I'm still awaiting a response as well.

I'm still trying to get prices from my guys. I'm on the phone again now. Chris says I should have an e-mail in about an hour (I can't check it until after work tonight). I'll call him again tomorrow and this time I'll leave my fax hooked up and let him fax it to me. Maybe he didn't hear my e-mail address correctly (I was on a cell phone with "fair" coverage at the time). don't you just hate it when you have to work this hard trying to give somebody else your money? Ok, I got a fax today, but I need to get everyone's zip codes and cities for them to quote me shipping (and I have to get the price for 4 17x11's instead of mixed pairs of 11 and 9.5's).
Get me your zip codes/cities and I'll try it again. Thanks guys. |
