Found this "how to" explaining the process of modifying the stock thermostat to a 160 or different temp of your choice. Can't verify it as I've already done the 160* w/the rather expensive total unit.

so howabout does one obtain a .101 or .125 thick shim? cuz it had said there that they had used homemade shims...
