51mph winds last night and blowing from 5pm to midnight. Windchills -24. I had to work the closing shift last night, which meant shovelling during the worst of it. If it weren't for the neon signs, I wouldn't have been able to see the buildings accross the parking lot.
We have two employees who take cabs home. One called for a cab at 9:30pm. Hadn't arrived by 10:30, so he cancelled the call and I took him and another employee home in the "Black Cab".
There was a sight - pretty much me in the Trans Am (graphics and all) and the snow plows on the road.
Blizzaks =
On the plus side, one of our bar regulars was in last night. He drag races a Ford Maverick and works in a parts store. I asked him where I could get my A-arm bushings pressed. He and a friend of his have a 12 ton press and will do the bushings when I'm ready! Probably cost me a 12-pack
I just need for this snow to go away
