Mitch he already has....... He already has....... Beleive it or not. biggrin.gif

Is it normal to feel like a little weeny when seeing your child for the first time?
KeithO
Congratulations.

Buy a ton of spares now... Diapers have a way of cutting into car budgets biggrin.gif

The first time he smiles at you will just wake something up in you. It's pretty cool.

Congratulations!

Shadetree Mechanic or whatever's called now did a show on building up a kart engine.

I'm starting early with "can you say go-kart?" and "Hooooosier". I choose to believe that "ah-goo" is an early attempt at asking for new race tires smile.gif

LOL

Kids make the rest of the world seem sorta pointless.
It's an amazing thing ...

Either Calm him down or make him more worried and running all over the place.
So what mods to the baby are you gonna be making and what class ? tongue.gif
Congrats on the little boy.
SSpeedracer
thats great!

Boys are cool. My boy (3 years old) is the master mechanic in my pit crew. Of course he doesnt realize swapping tires takes about 10 times longer when he helps. rolleyes.gif

Congrats, Lonnie!

Somewhere there's a picture of me as a small child in a little racing suit on the fender of Dad's race car. I've never seen the picture, but my wife (who has seen it) and mother claim it still exists ... somewhere. I'd love to have that picture. The suit and car are long gone.

Perhaps I'll get to recreate it smile.gif

I've seen this in person-it's funny yet demented at the same time. wink.gif Although Sean's daughter probably has no clue what a go-kart may be, Sean seems to have engraved in her head "go-kart" has a positive connotation. Either that or she thinks it's her name. laugh.gif

Congrats!! Kids will change everything in your household. biggrin.gif

My son Scott is now 17. He was the reason I stopped autocrossing, but is now the reason I'm getting back into it. We did the racing cart thing back when he was 10 years old. He got his feet wet last summer autocrossing his Focus. This year he'll be co driving the Camaro with me. He loves cars just like dad and it's something we can do together that we both like.

Congratulations!

My wife is giving birth to our son in a few weeks.....I have a 4 year old daughter....it is REALLY cool!

Don't know if I would survive suggesting to my wife Karts for my daughter!

sgarnett
Well, congratulations to you too! smile.gif

I've been careful to mention regularly that there are extra safety rules when the carts are allowed to run smile.gif
