[Andy J has tested some of them to 160+ mph and they stick great.....

Yep -damned straight - 164.8mph to be exact; but I also have a Jack in the Box Reindeer antenna ball that has made every race this year as well. He took a serious bug hit at speed in Texas and lost an eye. Tough little ball.

Andy,
You're still running an antenna? As I remember, I found/did the math on the drag of an antenna and it took a bit over 2 hp to move an antenna at 200 mph (it may be more with it whipping around, my math assumed a perfectly rigid tubular surface). It's all drag, I'd take that thing off of there for events. Of course, I'd tape up the hole too (if it were me). It's not as important now, but if you go faster, every little bit helps.
Kevin,
It has 2 antennas -- regular one and a scanner antenna.

. Shoot, It still has a full interior, working A/C, stereo amp and 2 big old subs in a box in the back well. We are going to the Texas Mile end of October -- I am going to strip it down to fighting weight for that one. With our current safety equipment, 168mph is the max we can run in the ORR The car easily gets up there in a hurry.
