And yes, I passed the Ferrari. A very nice F355 Challenge car.

Let's see. No website of thread of my own, so I'll put it here.

2000 Trans Am WS-6
2980lbs with fuel and driver
700lb coilovers and Koni SAs up front
275lb springs and Afco 7/4 split rate shocks out back
35mm hollow front bar, 21mm rear
Some other suspension things
Full bolt on, intake, exhaust, makes about 350hp and 380tq at the wheels
(No, not built to a certain ruleset; Grand Bayou races are classed according to qualifying times, not build sheets. I get to do whatever I want to the car and still run it.)

Tried to insert some project pictures, but I don't have rights for that yet I guess... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif) Current car is a 2000 WS6 M6 car with Koni's and and F Stock trim. I got spanked by a Shelby last weekend, hope it's not a indication of next year... The car I"m building is a 67 Rally Sport with full C4 IRS and a C5 front clip. (that's corvette stuff for you f-body guys... :-) ) Hope the have the rolling chassis done by the summer.

Cruising the strip at the Beach! and all of the above... Put the rear end back in the car today, ready to take off the roteserie and start building the front clip. Full coil over conversion for the IRS in the rear, no leaf's anywhere on the car. Tubbed for 315's in the rear and hoping to get 275's on the front. Pro-touring is the inspiration, but it will be a auto-x, HPDE, Track car at heart. If someone could share with me how to post pics I'd be glad to share...

Mine is a work in progress at this point. It's a 1994 B4C hardtop 6-speed car. The interior has been removed (more will be) I've installed a rollbar until I do a full cage later. I have yet to fabricate mounts for my seats and then I'll install my 6-point harnesses. LS1 front brakes with blainefab ducts, stainless hoses, tubular UMI upper and lower control arms, LG rear adjustable LCA's & PHR, LG super sport springs, Koni SA shocks, 35mm front sway, larger rear to be added soon.
Current engine has a big cam (bigger than LT4 hot cam) with ported heads and intake along with bigger fuel system. Needs some tuning and headers, but it goes like a scalded cat. I plan to run NASA HPDE's with it for a year or two, then do TT, and after that either CMC or AI.

Here's a pic of what it looked like a while ago, it's still being updated though. I'm ditching the current attempt at a front spoiler for something attached with Dzus fasteners to make it easier to get on and off the trailer.

Here's a link to a couple videos, one of my autocross this November and the other of me goofing around at said autocross.

Here's mine. Daily driver/autocrosser. Pretty basic so far. Just Strano springs and offset bushings, Koni 4/4 SA shocks. Magnaflow catback. Running on your standard issue SS 10 spokes with 275/45/17 Kuhmo Ecsta MX tires.

These pics were taken the same day i finished the suspension install. No action shots yet.

(IMG:http://home.gci.net/~crashingtiger/Camaro/CamaroDroppedQuarterView.JPG)

(IMG:http://home.gci.net/~crashingtiger/Camaro/CamaroDroppedSideView.JPG)

edit: haha... there is this action shot! My very first autocross event, it was bone stock then... was even still on the factory Goodyear all-seasons.

(IMG:http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/2798/hardonthebrakesby5.jpg)

Here is my current project. 1987 Nissan 300ZX Turbo, 5spd. It's got the factory adjustable shocks on it! It's going to be a door-to-door/ice racer. Paid $300 for it. As you can see, it needs some help. You can just barely see the roof of my Camaro on the side. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

(IMG:http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/4676/img2658ca2.jpg)

Just for fun, this was my Winter beater/ice racer from last year... i sold this car a couple of months ago. We race all year in Alaska, we just do it a bit differently in the Winter. lol. 1990 Acura Integra, 5spd. Can you tell I had fun?

I am currently putting a truck of mine back together after I was the victum of a headon motorcyle fatality in a local canyon. This truck was and still is going to be my daily driver. Its my 'current' project not by choice, others house and car projectes are currently on hold for the moment. I have to actully get out there right now and get going on it. Goodbye.

it is EXACTLY an ESP car. This picture was taken when we were running Time Only runs in the afternoon. My .sig was "old" for some reason didn't show my class correctly, but I have fixed it now..

It could be a CP car, but that would mean running against the Lewis Mustang from Florida and I don't like the idea of racing a 2800 lb car with a 400 HP motor....

This is a pic of my '88 AS Camaro from the Runoffs. Besides regular off-season maintenance she's ready to go for next year. Hopefully I'll pick the right tires to run on during the race next year (long story).

I haven't weighed mine, but that's real close to where I'm at. It's very likely sub 3,000 lbs (I'm guessing that it's headed for 2,800) and about 400 flywheel hp.

I just need tires....(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Not really a "race car" ......
`95 Z28 street/ track day beater, 33K miles, bought new, drag raced till about 2002. Since I`ve always been a fan of roundy round and road racing, open tracking was the next step:
- 1995 Z28 M6, stock short block, AFR190cc, Advanced Induction HR cam, Jesel SS rockers, typical bolt ons, PCMforless tune, 382 SAE thru SLP shorties, Random cat
- Eibach Pro-Kit, Koni SA shocks, Strano front bar/OE rear, original front bushings, UE rag joint eliminator, more aggressive alignment, LG Motorsports aluminum LCAS w/ rod ends, Spohn chromemoly PHB w/ rod ends, Poly T/A and trans bushings, subframe connectors, Turn One PS pump
- stock T56, Lingenfelter 3.5" aluminum DS, Fidanza aluminum FW, McLeod single disc, LT4 PP & drill mod, 4:10s and T2R
- TrackBrackets (Bob Bishop) C5 ZO6 front brakes w/ Severn ducts, Hawk HT10/HP+ for track use, GM Durastop ceramic/PF pads for street
- AFS polished ZR1 17x9.5/17x11 , 275NT555/315NT555R drag radial Nittos street, and coming this spring, Nitto NT01 for track

New parts this winter: Tru-Cool oil cooler, Mocal SP1CT, bigger rear bar

Webshots album

1983 Z-28 Camaro:
Competed in Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs American Grandsport Class, 2001- 2004.
Competed in National Auto Sport Association American Iron Series, 2005.
Being prepared for NASA's Camaro-Mustang Challenge Series.
Currently, she is on jackstands, all of the wiring is out as I am getting ready to put in new electronics.
Putting 1LE calipers and rotors from 88 TA parts car. It came with the Wilwood hubs, but no rotors. That set up (Wilwood)is illegal for CMC. I can not find a 12 inch rotor. I'll probably up grade to a 1998 fronts after I get everything together.
Two WC T-5's to be gone through.
305 to rebuild.
Need to replace the windshield yet.
I probably be putting a new cage. I have to check the legality of the Competition Engineering cages that are available.
There is a Autopower bolt in now, and it needs to be updated (dash bar and another door bar). It is cheaper for me to buy a new CE cage then update the one I have.
Go to www.dillinderracing.com and to the photos page to see what she looks like.
You'll also see the GT-1 car I get to play with also.

Here's my '94 Z28 at Mid Ohio a couple weeks ago. I won TTD, and wasn't far off the track record with only 2 dry sessions.

Another monster motor Chris?

I have been thinking about un-mothballing my car for a run at the Texas Mile this fall. It is just a laid back weekend speed fest at Goliad. You up for some of that? Maybe we could get Guy to show up as well?

Keep pestering me and I might just make it to Goliad this year. I have nothing of my own to really run down there but I might convince some Houston friends to make the event and tag along with them.

Kevin,

I just have trouble getting motivated without the kids being involved. The car is race ready-- just like it came off the trailer at Nashville.

Guy,

Run the black car -- I bet you would see 160+. Entry fees are pretty cheap. Only problem with Goliad is there are really no decent motels close. The airport is out in the BOONIES.

Andy, the black car you are thinking of is under a tarp in back of the garage. The current black car is almost bone stock and that's why I don't think it would be much fun at Goliad.

Speaking of.. any of you Tx boy's interested in running at this new track? www.rgvpca.org for more info...

My 2008 competition car... still DS for now, but if I decide to stir up trouble, it's going to ESP. At least when it gets moved out of ESP, I'll still have my Camaro to fall back on... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

No pictures of it in driver trim but I have a set of ZO6 wheels in flat black so they stay nice and clean looking!

I did some updating to the my CMC car section, one for my '94 TA and old '84 TA. You can also use the links to see my '97 TA which I did quite a bit of HPDE in and my '91 Formula project at Blaine Fab.

Alright, I'll play. I finished my first race on Saturday. While I was off pace of the front runners by ~10 seconds, I kept it clean and finished with a 3rd place (5 started, 2 DNFs). Finished my second race on Sunday. I was off pace by ~5 seconds, as I'd found some time in practice and qualifying. I kept it clean in terms of contact, but went off twice in the sweeper at Buttonwillow. Seeing as it's my wife's car, I'm going to have to make sure I get the dust out of all the nooks and crannies. Here it is, Sunday post race.

(IMG:http://www.z28racergirl.com/images/junk/DSC_5642.JPG)

It was a tad bit difficult to see out of the windscreen for a bit there. And when coming back on course, corner workers are your friend.

Randy's car is SWEET!

Time for my POS or should I call it a highly polished turd?:
I have an 87 Camaro that I work on too much to race it seems. Many people here have probably seen this pic:
(IMG:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o33/StanIROCZ/Grattan1.jpg)
there's more at my website.

I'm in the process of putting a full cage in it right now.

I use it for open track days and street driving but I'm building the car for AI / AIX / ITE / CP. I'm keeping the door windows, lights, and wipers etc so I can drive it on the street. Everything else is gutted to the max and there are many non-compromise 'race' parts on the car, such as the Jerico. I also built a 1 of a kind rear axle with an aluminum center section and maybe a few other crack pipe ideas have been incorporated on the car. Judging by some other cars on this board the car should be around 2900 lbs by the next time I get it on the track. I think I enjoy the building part too much since it is tore down more than it is running.

4,000 shipped. It started off life as an L92 truck motor and has been converted (more or less) into an LS3.

I love your Camaro. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif)

First off, great looking cars everyone. I'm especially fond of Austin's IROC, since it's ridiculous and street legal.

Here's my favorite auto-x pic of my car (92 RS) back when i was running esp (pre engine swap):

Another, diving into a corner:

Track day at Putnam:

I've got tons more, bot those are some of my favorites.

Off LS1tech from the former site owner. It was one of the 'train derailment' motors circulating around last year.

Camaro 02

Last year! Much the same this year with the addition of a T56 face plated gear box, rear fiberglass hatch and lexan, front lexan, and maybe a new rear gear.

The only decent pics i have of the Camaro are from my wife. I'm not sure how she does it, but she always takes pics Blair Witch style.

I've got the Strano setup and it kicks much ass.

My other racer is a 1986 Nissan 300ZX Turbo. It's mostly for ice racing, but it also gets some rallycross love once in a while. It's got lightweight rust mods and rolls on a set of Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60s!

I'd LOVE to ice race! I rally-crossed a few year ago in a Subaru. I wish was a bit more popular around here.

I just realized that I don't have any photos of my GTA from the last 2-3 years, goes to show how bad I've been about keeping it on the road between mods...

And my excuse for not keeping the GTA running:

Mkay, I've still got Scratcher...motor is due back next weekend:
(IMG:http://www.witchdoctormotorsports.com/ch96pic09.jpg)

And I've still got Miss (92 1LE/B4C) that I daily drive (cold ac!), ax and instruct hpde:
(IMG:http://www.witchdoctormotorsports.com/ch108pic07.jpg)

BUT, right now I'm putting a fresh 3.8 back into the scca ITA chevy monza to get it back up and running so I can put it up for sale. No need for two race cars (well...no need right NOW anyway...and I need the space) so I got the motor back from the shop today and put it in the chassis and hung the clutch and bellhousing and will stab the trans and hopefully get it running this weekend.
(IMG:http://www.witchdoctormotorsports.com/ch48pic02.jpg)

http://www.witchdoctormotorsports.com/ch135.htm

I'll be updating that chapter this weekend as I get more accomplished. If anyone knows of someone looking for a nice little fast and fun ITA car with a hefty set of spares, please point them towards me!!

Costas
cars and such...

Though I always profess my love for the 3rd gen Formula's, I have always had a real soft spot for the old GTA's and that is a really nice looking example. If it ever becomes worthless (hahahahahahaha), call me, I'll take it off your hands cheap. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

78K miles, 1987, 350TPI, Digital dash option. AC works! I found it on a used car lot. Somebody kept it really nice. I had to get the radio rebuilt...but it is still 100% original.

Well since I am new here this is a good place for an introduction/conversation piece. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Yes, it is drag oriented (12.7 @ 110mph N/A; 12.5 @ 117mph on a 100shot)... but she is my baby:
(IMG:http://whitetrashdesign.ca/images/ss/sshine%20002.jpg)

This is a dual purpose car Drag/Auto-X (and it's suspension is very much adapted from a 3rd Gen F-body):
(IMG:http://whitetrashdesign.ca/images/buick/buickphotoshoot/pic%20004.jpg)

(IMG:http://whitetrashdesign.ca/images/autox.jpg)

And yes, we have an F-body as well. An '02 B4C from Florida State's Hwy Patrol; this one is Natasha's car (I've got the little lady racing it now too...):
