Do stores like AutoZone, NAPA or O'Rielys take used fluids? I need to dispose of some antifreeze, oil, and trans fluid.

Here in San Antonio there is a Household Hazardous Waste program that accepts nearly everything (coolant, oil, fluids, tires, batteries, and other non-car stuff). It's free if you pay your utility bill to the city public service. I found it by just typing "San Antonio Recycling" or "San Antonio Household Hazardous Waste" in to Google. You might try the same with your city. |
