Do stores like AutoZone, NAPA or O'Rielys take used fluids? I need to dispose of some antifreeze, oil, and trans fluid.

3. Antifreeze. Store out of reach of animals and children, as they are attracted to the sweet taste of antifreeze. Don’t pour used antifreeze on the ground— dilute it thoroughly with water and pour down the drain. <shrug>If that's what the government says, I assume the town waste facilities or your septic system can handle it safely. |
